The same has been going on for the last 2 years. No payment, emails, calls, finally a payment. Except this last time all emails are returned and they are outstanding for me over a year and for others on the well even longer.
It is challenging to get paid sometimes. Have you checked your Division Order to see what your minimum payment is. They usually say $100, but they can be changed to a lower amount. If your royalties do not add up to the minimum, they collect them until they do. They are supposed to pay you at least once a year.
Samson has been having financial difficulties, so they may not have had the manpower to do things correctly. Also, in 2020, many wells were choked back or shut in during the Covid crisis, so that would have decreased royalties. If they sold nothing, they pay no royalties.
