I own mineral rights in Section 24, Township 19N, Range 04E via grandparents. (1/2 E SW 1/4) I have recently viewed activity in that section and see there is a well permit given to Crown Energy for salt water disposal. How does this will affect the value of minerals owned by myself and sister? To my knowledge the minerals have not been leased since 1978 by my father Perry Wiley.

Thank you Martha: I did contact Crowne Energy to confirm they are drilling a salt water disposal well - they are. However, I did ask where the proposed salt water production was coming from with no response as of this date.
I shall call attorney McBride. Thanks to all for the information I obtain from reading this forum.
