Hi, my wife’s father passed away last year. We just learned from his brother that their parents owned 80 acres in Section 25, Township 7 North, Range 25 West. He informed us the well has started producing and needed paperwork signed to get royalties. It is a 3/16 split; the paperwork seems correct. We are new to this and must say uneducated in this process. I’ve looked up some info on the area and have tried the OCC but was not able to find what the well is producing. Any help? Thanks.
25-7N-5W Romanoff 1-25-24-13XH began production in 2017. The surface location is in sec 25. You can look up the well records on the OCC well records site. Test
The production from the last 12 months (running behind by about four months) is on the OK tax site. Gross Production You can look it up by the name. Type Romanoff in the LeaseName box.
There are also thee other wells which spud from section 0106N05W. They are the Green Acres 2-36-25XHW and 4 and 5. They just finished in late 2019 so Division Orders will come out in about February of 2020. In the meantime, you need to settle the estate and file the probate documents in the Grady County Courthouse.

Continental will likely require a probate case. Fortunately, this is usually not complicated in Oklahoma. Typically no court appearances are required by the heirs.
