db - thanks! Devon seems like a reputable company; however, when I asked the landman from TODCO whom he represented, he never mentioned it. Does the offer seem reasonable?
I received a lease from TODCO PROPERTIES back in May for Section 10, Township 15, Range 1 West, for $102 an acre, 3 years, 3/16, but am waiting for a better offer. Sounds like $250 is moving in the right direction, good luck.
$250 for that area at this time is good.
Todco is also doing some leasing in 15N-1W and also Tetra Energy. Has anyone have any contact information for these two companies since there are several forum members including myself that have not had any luck locating them since we have mineral interest in the area.
I would stay away from Tetra, their leases are no good and complex.

The highest I have seen in N. Logan County has been 800 per acre and 20%. Make sure you address the SWD well also in your lease. You want to know what they will be paying you per bbl, 10 cents a bbl is the highest I have heard of. Also surface damages. Personally I would only lease to Devon. They are state of the art environmentally, and put in lined tank batteries and quality surface equipment.
