Have interest in Reeves County wells operated by BPX. 2026 royalty checks are running about half of 2025. Assumed with higher energy prices in 2026, production would also be higher and thus higher royalties. Are others in this area seeing significantly lower royalties this year? Thanks
Horizontal wells have steep production decline curves for the first couple years and then decline more slowly. The production will not increase based on oil prices.
