Royalties

My thoughts on all your oil & gas companies is anyone like me that was suppose to inherit what their dead father worked for all his life, yet his ex partner & pall bearer of my dead father cannot answer any questions other than telling everyone I was so upset at that time, but other than that they have no idea what I am talking about much less knowing me very well sounds like a he said she said. Of course the attorney also writes in the probate that an undetermined value of mineral interest exists. Of course no proof other than my word that I handed this man the royalty check that was mailed to my father like it was every month along with the deeds, along with my fathers notary stamps. I don't really know how people get away with this other than I am told it is a process to prove it even though the process for the low life attorney that got away with this plain & simple, smiles & tells everyone he has no idea what the poor poor mislead daughter is talking about. The oil & gas industry appears to be a good ole boy system to me even though I am a good ole girl that grew up in Texas. I wish the hanging system still existed.

Maryalice,

They get away with it by your ignorance of property law. Do you have an attorney?

You are correct! The oil & gas industry IS a good ole boy system. But, that shouldn't stop you from executing the due diligence that may prove your inheritance. You sound like an intelligent Texas gal, so go find that paper trail that just may prove your inheritance." And, don't pass GO until you collect what's rightfully yours.

Good luck,

Pat (a Texas gal)

I started my tracing long ago & made it all the way to a person doing title research for me who says, they just could not find me probably. I contact all of the oil & gas companies but they refused to speak to me unless I had representation. To afford someone to obtain what was stolen from me is another bridge to cross. Especially after a lot of medical & without funds. When an attorney you have known all your life since you were a child, tells other attorneys he vaguely remembers you is a bit difficult to swallow knowing he was my fathers partner, a pall bearer, & my father got his own girlfriend to help his partner out with a loan to go into private practice with him. I brought him my fathers notary stamps , the last check I saw from oil & gas company & deeds. Since I was in the middle of planning my fathers funeral & he told me he could get this all turned over to me back then, of course after that, he claims he has no knowledge of any of this & tells all attorneys he remembers I was upset. What a piece of work this one is.

Did your Father leave a Will? If so, what county/state is it filed? What is your Father's full name?

Thank you.

Pat

The will that had all the property listed conveniently walked but dads hand written will left everything to me which was probated. My grandmother is where all this originated which is in all courthouse records. Big hill, Winnie Tx, Jefferson county, chambers, Galveston, etc. Agnes will Hynes was her name which she did not have inventory either but all in court house records. The thing to do would be to see who was drilling on properties at time of his death so this would be in 1998 & 1999 because this is when I handed the check from oil & gas company along with deeds, notary stamps to dads ex partner who refused to list everything in the inventory at time of dads death & when I told him this was not acceptable, all he put in probated will was dad, Joseph Kenneth Hynes, had an undetermined value of mineral interests at time of his death. He knew exactly what dad had & where because I handed him everything. I understand many conveyances of land to this attorney by name of Eddie Schroeder exist. I never signed anything to him yet found on one sheet of paper that he is a trustee that has a number on it which court house says does not exist. I have the paper. My name is signed on this as last name Montgomery in 1990 which I can tell it is not my signature along with the fact that my last name was Dorsey in 1990. Someone messed up. This is his word against mine. He tells all attorneys that call him , I was very upset but he vaguely remembers me. I saw my father everyday & him almost daily for so so many years along with him doing a will for me at one time, along with dads passing, etc. This is when everything started because my father told me eddie knew better writing the things he did in a will for me & was headed to talk to him about it. I only spoke to my father once more after that because he died. Even if I don’t have the money for land man to track everything the title research person did for me, no one will put everything over in my name now for future reference. I took my father to the bank every month for his deposits from oil & gas companies because he had cancer.

Maryalice,

You can sign onto TexasFile.com and do all the investigative work yourself. On a quick look and see, I did not see any leases recorded for Hynes in Chambers and Jefferson counties.

Since you know all the details, I suggest you take what the landman found and take off from there. I would also suggest that you ask Mr. Schroeder for copies of all data with your name on it. It sounds confusing that he would give you Trust papers, with your name on them, that the courthouse does not recognize as being file/recorded. Ask him to see the Original paperwork.

Good luck,

Pat

Since $$ is short ... you need to do your own "footwork."

I have done enough leg work. I have eog resources number with my fathers account number & sent them his will to put it into my name & they ignored me along with all the other oil & gas companies who ignored me other than saying to get representstion. With a will, title research, & account numbers, someone needed or needs to do their part on their end & put my name down on all that. I am not the first that got screwed over at time of inheritance nor will I be the last because not many good men exist to do the right thing anymore these days.
