My brother and I inherited three different parcels of land. Northeast Natural Energy has leased all three. It is called Ragtown. Ten more wells are to be placed and already have permits. They are “pooling” from our land, and there is already a well less than 10,000 feet from our land that is producing. According to the land man Steve, everyone else who inherited signed off on leases as of last November, but we have yet to see any royalties. When I check the state, it only shows production for last year. It shows the well called Ragtown producing very well, so I don’t understand why no royalty checks have been given to us. If anyone can help us understand the process a little better, I would greatly appreciate it.
