Royalties for Transmission of Gas?

Hello! I’m new here and have a question.

We have been approached about putting a pipeline through our property for the Arbuckle II Pipeline. We are just now starting negotiations with ONEOK.

Here is my question, are we subject to receive any royalties from the gas that will be transferred through the pipeline on our property? We do not own the mineral rights to the property. I know mineral owners would get something IF they were drilling for gas/oil ON our property, but they are NOT drilling, just putting a pipeline in to transfer gas from OKC to the coast.

If you don’t have the mineral rights, you will not get any revenue from the royalties. If you have the surface rights, then you will only get the revenue from the pipeline leasing your acreage for the pipeline. Get a good attorney who is knowledgeable on surface agreements.
