ROW easement

I have property in Tom Green County and have received a lease for ROW through a mile of our property to carry gas from wells on our neighbors property. The proposed easement would be against our East fence and would not cross our land. In face, an easement against that fence would help us to travel across some rough terrain. Can anyone tell me what is the proper compensation for such an easements in Tom Green County?

You need to get an attorney who has a specialty in ROW agreements. The draft agreement the company will offer you will most likely not be in your favor. You need to protect your surface and your rights. There are several other threads on the forum that speak to this.
