Rosewood Resources, Inc. has recently permitted 4 wells to be drilled in northwest Frio County. I have an NPRI interest on two of the wells. These will be the most northwestern wells in the Eagle Ford Shale. I’m just wondering if anyone has heard about this and what the future of this breakout play might be?

how far is your area from the city of Pearsall?

Haven’t heard anything in regards to Rosewood. The Pearsall seems to have decent activity past year. Not sure if the play will reach me 10 miles east of Pearsall on 140.
We’re about 20 miles north west of Pearsall.
Rosewood has leased a large area in Northwest Frio County. I’ve attached some images highlighting much of their lease but not all. I’ve also narrowed the area to where they are presently drilling on the Hancock Northwest pad as of June 29th, 2026.
