I’m interested to know if anybody is getting offers for lease or purchase around this section in Roger Mills County. We only have about 5 acres and someone at Penterra Services has reached out to lease. Any advice or information would be helpful. Debra.
Several companies are filing leases in sections 5, 8 and 18. Some are offering 25% royalty, so if you are only getting 3/16th offers, ask for more.

I just received a phone call about selling my mineral rights in 13-12N-24 W. I am not from Oklahoma, never seen the land and have no idea how this works. Is there a reason why someone reached out to me out of the blue about purchasing the mineral rights?
There is a Cherokee horizontal play developing in some parts of Roger Mills. Most offers to buy come because the buyer has a line of sight on a potential operator and well coming in the next three-five years. If you have no need to sell, then just sit back and wait. My offers have been lower than my ultimate royalties on the wells that eventually came. They intend to make a profit off of your minerals.
