Ron: I just got off the phone to Kelly Muckelroy at Apache. She researched the records and found that a Donald and Loretta Lee had a lease in that area that expired in 2010. No further leasing has occurred. She stated that there is no activity in Sec. 23.

Ron and Clint - I found the Clerk's # on line - but THANK YOU! Then, I called and was told that Donald Lee had in fact a lease dated 2-3-14 - that it was the only one in that section this year. He has the other half of my #23. I called Kelly Muckelroy at Apache back - left a message. Shouldn't I have been contacted on this??? I'll ck the web you provided.

Ron: I never received a call back from Kelly at Apache as to why I was not notified of the current lease by Donald Lee on the other half of my Section 23 T15N R21W. It looks like leases are being offered all around my section. Any idea of why I haven't received any offer?

Janet There are some things you need to get in your lease. Depth clause, shut in limit, limit marketing deductions, no option to extend to start with.
Ron - No I do not know Donald Lee. Would you advise me trying to call Apache again? Not sure how truthful they are.
