Depending upon where you are in the county means a lot. Try Fortson Energy. They lease a small mineral interest for about $600 per acre just west of Franklin.
There is lot of production in Robertson County and there will be a lot more. Get on Google Earth and zoom in on Robertson County, Texas and look at all the drill site locations. Most of this is dated and there are more now and there will be more.
Take a look at the Texas RRC and see the permits.
I got on Google Earth.......... how do you retrieve drill site locations on the map? I could not do it.
Thanks,
FM

When you get on Google Earth's website, zoom in on Robertson county and you will be able to see all the mostly square dirllsites. Most are in the southeast part of the County.
I just heard yesterday that there is a new real big discovery well that is a "horizontal Bossier "Shale" well". This is in the shale part of the Bossier Sand formations. This is supposedly something brand new in the County. I have not searched the RRC site, but I think it is an XTO well or Burlington Resources well.
Locate your mineral rights and see if there are locations there and check the RRC for permits in the Survey you r minerals are located to see if there are permits and wells.
