I have received a letter offering to buy the mineral interests in this parcel. I am an out-of-state owner, I do not have any information on this.

I do understand that this area is active for oil and gas. I'd appreciate any help identifying this, or to be pointed in the right direction to research.

I would contact the Texas Railroad Commission office in Pampa, Texas. The Commission regualates oil and gas in the State of Texas and also maintains well records in each field office. Since Roberts County is located in the Panhandle area of Texas, the Pampa office would maintain these records. Someone in that office will advise you on the well activity in that area.
