We received notice of hearing to vacate old spacing orders and to establish 640-acre horizontal drilling and spacing unit for Hoxbar oil. In our current lease on these acres, we specified 640-acre spacing for gas and 160-acre spacing for oil. The fact that the operators are working on spacing is good news but I wonder if there is any reason to contest the proposed spacing. Any advice is welcome. The Cause CD #: 201903524.
No reason to protest in my opinion. The 640 horizontal spacing is standard. That way you get royalties off of every horizontal drilled and perforated in the section.
