Response time line following recording of mineral rights

How long does it take for oil companies to respond with royalty information once they have received my recorded mineral rights deed. After a long probate process my mineral rights ownership was recorded in Mckenzie county and my lawyer sent the documents to Triangle Petroleum back in November 2014. There are currently 7 producing wells on this property. Is there something I should be doing to Get this process moving. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

In my experience it will take as long as the oil company feels like dragging it out. I do not have experience with Triangle Oil but I have a lot of holdings in ND and the one thing I have learned it to get on the phone. Call daily, get names, demand answers. If you become a "squeaky wheel" you will get the answers you need, but it's not for the faint at heart. Go in with both barrels blazing and good luck.
