Received paperwork on Remora bankruptcy. They supposedly took over production in Lipscomb County, TX but I never saw any revenue after the takeover. Has anyone been paid by Remora and where is your production?
Today I received additional bankruptcy paperwork and am not clear as to how to deal with it. Typically royalty owners are still paid without any action on their part. I received a ballot for class 3 unsecured claims, a document which I have never seen before from any other bankruptcy cases. Does anyone have any production in Lipscomb County, TX which has several previous operators including Fairway and Samson Lonestar? I do not have a TX oil and gas attorney on board. Looking for advice in this situation. The deadline for returning the ballot is Oct 16. A postpaid envelope was included in the packet so apparently this is an important decision for a royalty owner to make.
