Can anyone tell me on the typical timing from seeking relief for horizontal spacing until well(s) are drilled? Casillas is seeking this in Sec 32, 4N, 3W. Also if I have an existing lease for minerals in the same location for a shallow well, how would my interest be treated under the new horizontal well? Thanks!
If you existing lease doesn’t have a depth clause, your minerals will be subject to that lease in the new horizontal well.
Thanks Todd. Yes after doing some more homework this is an old lease with no depth clause so looks like it will follow the original lease. Thanks for your input.
