I would be disappointed if you couldn’t get $1,500 and a quarter royalty for a three year lease. Forgive me if I missed some earlier discussion, but have you talked with Petrohawk?
Swank – waiting on natural gas pipeline to be completed by their gathering subsidiary Hawk Energy Services. I understand, shortly after the first of the year, they began selectively bringing their wells onstream. Later – Buzz

Good to see you on here. Petrohawk has contacted me they are interested they should be we are surrounded by them they have wells permitted, drilled and producing on all quadrants. Boyd McWilliams did sell off some intrest in their leases and raised money to come in and drill horizontal wells. They are renewing the lease we are not happy with them but we have to deal with them. They exercised their right to renew.
Do you know why Petrohawk has most of their wells shut in?

Does anyone know how to find out the drilling schedule for a company? I am leased to Eagle Oil and Gas, but have no idea when (or if) they plan to drill. Any information would be appreciated!

Some recent action in Reeves SW of Pacos, A-1367 and 1180. Leased out for 3 years last July. Just got an offer to buy the rights for little over $133k. They want to buy at least 1/4 if I won’t sell all. Since I don’t see any action on the RR map makes me think there is more to this than appears. The outfit is Petro Vista Resources. The catch is offer only good until the 25th of the month. I conclude from this that it isn’t in my interest to sell the rights.

Cynthia, the landman can sometimes get that information for you. Most companies have to ‘drill on paper’ six months before actual drilling to make sure all contractors are able to coordinate their services; pad, rat-hole, drilling company, fracing, etc. I’d start with your landman. Sarah
