As of around an hour ago, 103 wells have been permitted in Reeves County in February…serious activity looming. January wasn’t much less.
Here is an interesting site. It shows where there is drilling - not comprehensive: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1nL63l2zq01cwyBM0Nunew…
Anadarko dba Delaware Basin JV is deducting 52% of my gas royalty for pipeline charges. Anyone experiencing similar pipeline pain?
Hector, Are your minerals currently under Lease?
Anyone who can boil this down I would greatly appreciate your input. These remarks are from the “temporary hold” on the Cadillac 4-48 well Block 4 sec 82 Reeves Thanks again The designated interval for one or more of the fields approved in this permit appears to overlap with the designated interval of another field or fields in this district. In the case of conflicting designated intervals you will be required to be consistent in field designation on this lease. Further, if the designated interval overlap of wells on this lease results in an actual or potential double assignment of reservoir and the applicant cannot conclusively demonstrate that there is no double assignment, the permitted well may not be assigned an allowable until the conflict is resolved. Because of the overlapping designated intervals in this area, issuance of this permit does not guarantee that the completion of the well will be approved or that the well will receive an allowable in any given field, even if that field is listed on the approved permit application.

Maybe somebody else can explain why but RRC has been applying that same restriction language on horizontal Wolfcamp wells permitted in Reeves County since last September.
The pending status on the permit for Silverback’s Cadillac well relates to an amended permit application they filed right after RRC approved their original permit. In the amendment Silverback deleted two No Perf Zones (NPZ’s) that had been included in their original application to handle several unleased mineral interests in the unit. Without the NPZ’s they apparently have to obtain a Rule 37 spacing exception from RRC for interior lease line boundaries related to those unleased interests. There is a waiting period after all the parties are notified of the exception request. If the application is contested a hearing is required otherwise I assume RRC will approve it but could take a while. For some reason Silverback went through that same kind of amendment and revision process on other wells they permitted in that area like Big Fundamental 4-52 and Ninja 4-50-49.
What is the definition of 2-stream and 3-stream?
Due to the offers we are receiving for our Reeves mineral interests we would like to get the word out that we are open to selling or or part.
We have 80 NMA in Sec. 80 BK 4 w one well thus far. We really do not know the best way to know what a good price per nma would be and would appreciate any of your thoughts or recommendations.
The latest completion filed by Apache with the RRC is only 8 miles south of our property currently leased by Apache. The potential is 6744 mcf/day gas and 72 bbls/day oil. Permit filed back in June 2016, completion report filed last week. The Alpine High new field discovery hearing is pending. Just got a call yesterday they are running a survey of our section. (sec 8 Blk 55 T&P).
Does anyone have any idea of the price/acre to sell minerals in block 2 Reeves Co? I am NOT interested in selling our minerals, just trying to get a grip these offers going out.
Mel - we are about 2-3 miles west of you. The generic offer letters frequently quote 10k per nma, but we received a couple of specific offers last year for 25k and 28k per nma just prior to the operator drilling two wells on the unit. Based on figures from the investor presentation, the NPV per nma (assuming leased with 25% royalty) in the unit should be about 50k at $50 WTI so the offer was at about 50-60% of the estimated NPV. This results in this area have been quite good.

Thanks Paul.
Hello, I am wondering if any activity is going on in Block 55, Sec 8, t 4? I have been off the forum for some time and trying to bring myself up to date. Does anyone know the going rate for a pipeline through your land. What is the appropriate amount of money to ask. Thanks for any and all information
Louise
Louise, we had Wade Caldwell take care of the ROW negotiations and easement.
Louise, we are in block 58 north of Toyah and west of you and got $150. Per rod in Dec
Latest Apache presentation on the Alpine High. Makes clearer they have a consistent play in the deeper formations but the Wolfcamp and above is going to be more varied in results. http://files.shareholder.com/downloads/APA/3585067285x0x934687/EF0B…
Kenneth L. Haag, thank you for the information you have given me. I truly appreciate the help. Haven’t heard back from the company wanting to lay the pipeline, maybe two he said. Guess playing the waiting game…I am good with that too…But, once again I thank you…
Any one getting lease offers north of Pecos? Seems like it is going pretty high priced .
Louise Welch,
Did you receive my emails? Have you gotten your new computer up and going yet?
