lease
Can you send me the legal description? We may be interested in it.
Brenda, is your question with respect to a lease bonus or a sale of minerals? In either case, the location within Reeves County, among other factors, dictates the price. What is the location and net mineral acres of your tract? Feel free to send me a private message on this forum if you’d like to discuss your property in detail.
Brenda, location, circumstance, and size can vary prices a lot, but $3500/acre for a lease has been pretty common throughout the County.
I am wanting to know what the going price per acre in Reeves County is.
Wade, it is 400.58 acres, being West half of the Southwest Quarter (W/2 SW/4) and the East half (E/2) of Section 4, Block 54. Interest being shown in taking an Oil and Gas Lease.
Clint-
Thanks for the info. Sure hope things turn around soon.
thomas c fair,
GIS Map of Reeves County A-3425/Section 44/Block 4: A very good gas well to the north of your minerals in Section 51/API 389-33147. Link to Completion Report on well 33147:
No, you don’t want to sell these minerals. You are in a great location for future production.
I would be interested in looking at making you an offer. Can you send me your legal description? 3toilandgas@gmail.com. Thanks Thomas
John, assume you are talking about someone offering to buy rather than lease your minerals for $14,000/acre, right?
Before anybody can help you on what’s happening they’ll need a more detailed legal description. Do you have an abstract number or know the survey name?
Glen, the Railroad Commission seems like the logical place to start.
If you don’t know how to check the latest production record and operator information for your lease why don’t you post the lease name and legal description of your property here along with the name of the company you are talking about and I expect someone will help you find it.
Glen Kirk,
Possibly this will help you:

Thanks, Clint. That was a big eye-opener. At least they are still producing albeit small.
John, those river tracts in northern Reeves County are hot right now. Anadarko has a permit to drill on your property, but I don’t show that it has been spud yet. I’ll keep an eye on Drillinginfo and let you know if activity appears. If you’re debating selling, you may want to reach out to some of the forum sponsors to get their take on what they see in that area.

We have sold leases and are interested in watching and following up on activity in those areas. Is there a website or software we can use to follow up on our investment?
What is going on in Section 1 Block 2 in Reeves County? I had an offer of 14,000.00 an acre. Are they expecting to hit a gusher there?
Just curious if things have totally stopped or if there’s any activity around my parcel: AB 3460 BLK 58 SEC 19 PSLSW/4
Thanks!
