Scottsy, we own mineral rights to the SW of you in Section 16. However, the surface rights were sold off ages ago so we can’t help you there. I think there was someone else in our general area on this board and he was getting some interest in leasing, though I don’t remember if we ever heard the outcome. (It was some time ago.) If he has surface rights, maybe he’ll see this and write.
Sec 2, B55 T7 is not mineral classified. If you do sell the surface, reserve any mineral rights you may own.
Scotsy, I own the land surface in Block 55, Section 8, and township 4 and I am expecting my well to be drilled at any day now. If I were you I would not sell my surface rights at any cost as this area will be still pumping oil 100 years from now. You are in the best area for oil and gas production.
I have recently been approached to sell easement rights for a pipeline. Just received this offer yesterday.
Just my two cents worth. Never sell, only lease…
Louise
Scotsy, I sent you a friend request so we could discuss directly.
Scotsy,
My own personal opinion, but I wouldn’t sell the surface rights. You may be able to get payments for various easements, surface damages for a wellsite location and roads, and possible SWD rights in the future.
Has anyone had any luck in getting more than the Univerity Lands rate for a SWD well with both on site and off site water being disposed? The University Lands rate is $12,500 for a five year term, 10 cents/barrel, plus the location fee. This is for a landowner offer, not the rates charged operators to dipose.
Untitled%20picture.png Not showing any production since Nov 2014 per drilling info. Tried to paste the screen. Call me if you would like to discuss. 817-304-4456
I’m trying to get the producion on a well in my section. It is not as easy as it use to be as I can figure out how to get it. It is reeves county ab 4113 bl c19 sec 16 ap33460 can anyone tell me how to get the production now???
Dennis, I have your production figures but it’s too large to paste to the forum. If you will friend me, then send me a private message with your email address, I’ll email you your production figures. I have through Nov. 2014. The reports lag about 3 months so nothing since then reported yet.
As respects the RRC, I got in through specific lease query:

I used the lease name search - contains Judy Clark and is District 8.

I can’t believe you haven’t had a well drilled there yet. We are a mile to the north and have two vertical and one horizontal wells. If you would like some feedback, send me an email at rlong53997@aol.com
