Given they’ve already exposed themselves to 22.5% royalty, I’d not let them get away (don’t accept an extension option!), $400/ac. x 1000+ acres is a chunk of change that I’d leap at … maybe try to squeeze them to $500 and see if they back away or want to compromise royalty (no!) Good Luck

I just got a phone call from another company… They did not make another offer but did indicate interest in leasing our mineral rights.

You should check out the Reeves County, TX group of this Mineral Rights Forum to see what others are discussing. I understand that at the present time all of Reeves County is hot for a variety of reasons, especially in Northern and Eastern Reeves County

The latest thing going on is that double D offered $525 25% and three years and wildhorse came back with $550 25% and three years
