Does anybody know what is the on-going-rate for acreage along the river what they consider Pecos East north of I-Business 20 or HWY 80? My section is 68, Blk 4.

We leased ours in Blk 4 in Reeves County a few years ago for just a couple hundred an acre (and is still currently leased). Now we are getting random offers in the mail to buy (not lease) for $3k/acre so I think its worth a lot more now than it was (as the area seems to be hotting up, since we heard nothing for years about these rights, and now getting unsolicited offers to buy).
Yes I’ve had plenty of offers to buy not lease my interest. I also had Lawson Land Services offering me to lease my acreage for $750.00 an acre. I believe this is too low but then again I’m not an expect.
Several companies are active in Reeves County, so you might shop it around.
My section is also 68, blk 4. Did you have any good outcome?
Pierre, as of September 1, 2017 Colgate Energy has applied with the Texas RR Com to drill 2 wells in this section.
