Is there a class action lawsuit for landowners in Block 45 to attempt to retrieve the minerals from when the State of Texas did not relinquish the minerals when it was sold to Tony Masarweh in 2005? The minerals were kept by the state. In 2020 there was a post about a potential class action lawsuit for the minerals retrieval for the landowners. Can anyone provide a status on this? I would like to join that lawsuit if this is active.
State of Texas routinely retains all minerals in perpetuity when it sells surface. You and other owners do not have a cause of action for this.

Thanks for the update. I had been off the site for a while and noticed someone mentioning that. Is there any oil and gas activity going on in Block 45 Section 35 you are aware of by chance?
Closest permit activity in the past 12 months are a series of N-S horizontals (6) by Occidental about 3-3.5 miles due east.
