I am looking to start acquiring producing royalties and overrides and would like to attend a landman course prior to doing so.
Can anyone recommend a reputable landman school that would provide me with the know-how to make these acquisitions?
For instance, I would like to learn how to draft an “assignment of override”, how to use a sight draft, proper etiquette for negotiating with a mineral rights owner, and tips and techniques for mailing offers to purchase mineral interests.
