Idea’s of why there are SO many Buyers trying to buy Mineral Rights in the past 6 months in Anderson and Leon Counties?
I’d be interested too. I inherited several mineral rights in Anderson County. Years have gone by with no interest, but it seems that something is going on. I’ve had a few inquiries in the past year or so. I leased one in Freestone County last year, but the rest are in Anderson.

Very simple: follow the money. The industry believes there is abundant hydrocarbon to be had there. The mineral buying industry is always looking to get “ahead of the drill bit” as they like to say.
