What is happening in Woodward County that explains the recent intense interest in Oil & Gas leases?

It's hard to say what's exactly going on because the big players aren't going to tell us so that they can get in cheap. We have to rely on each owner to help keep us updated if they see or know anything about leases, selling, drilling, etc.. Since March of last year, I have received numerous offer letters for from potential buyers that are wanting me to sell regardless of current O&GL or royalty on the property. Naturally, if there's no lease yet they can grab it cheaper from the owner. Personally, without a lease or royalties already, I would never even consider selling.
