Greetings, I’m new to the group. I inherited mineral rights in a few counties, including Stephens. I have received a pretty good offer from Continental for the rights in Stephens, and it’s the first offer in quite a while. Something must be happening or about to happen there. I am absolutely clueless about mineral rights. Does receiving this offer mean I should hang onto what I have, or sell while the offers are good? Thank you for the guidance. I’m certain many will say it’s a personal preference, which I understand. Any input would be appreciated.

Receiving offers often means something is about to happen. First offers are generally low to the actual value-just to see if someone will bite.
