Reasonable lease bonus consideration

Hello,

I am brand new in this oil and gas area, and trying to learn more about this.

I have an offer to lease 6.6667 net mineral acres for Section 11-3S-3W, Carter County with primary term 3 years, 3/16 royalty, and $750.00/acre lease bonus.

I have read this oil and gas forum. It seems the 3/16 royalty is pretty reasonable, but I can't understand the lease bonus consideration portion. What is the reasonable lease bonus consideration for Carter County? Does it make any difference if the offer is for Carter county or Stephens county?

I'm not familiar with Oklahoma minerals but you might want to post your question under Carter and Stephens county sites. Click on "Groups" above, click on "County Groups", find Oklahoma and then scroll down to these two counties. You will have to join these counties but these sites consists of individuals that hold interests in both counties.
