Reason for this filing?

Today I got notices of these filings that were just made today in reference to the approval for Camino Natural Resources to drill on 10-5N-5W in Grady County. Daylight Petroleum owns an old vertical well that was drilled in 1993 on my section and has not produced anything in several years.

17 (Document) ENTRY OF APPEARANCE, NOTICE OF PROTEST AND REQUEST FOR AFFIRMATIVE RELIEF filed on behalf of DAYLIGHT PETROLEUM LLC.

Any idea what Daylight is objecting to? Since Daylight does not hold the lease I wouldn’t think they can object. Camino stated in the original filing that this old well had been effectively drained. Thanks for your comments.

Filings like this are very common. It is filed under “protest”, but is really just a request for information and that the party wants all mailings. Nothing to be concerned about.
