I was just informed that I had inherited mineral rights from my 3rd great great grandparents from 1908. I found the deed book and page number and have traced my roots. However, it is a mess because my unlces had signed with another company in 2023. I am not sure if they claimed 100% ownership and blatantly disregarded my dads 1/6 ownership of his being the oldest of six boys. I am his only child with no surviving spouse. He did not leave a will because he entrusted his brothers especially the one born after him and they just shunned me. The boys were supposed to split evenly 6 ways so when my dad died it would have went to me. I do not know what to do about any of this. I do not live in Pennsylvania where the minerals are that are wanting to have a well to be built on. They are non surface. I need someone to advise me of how to handle this correctly and the best way possible to protect my dads name sake and my great hreat great grandparents who purchased these to pass on down to thier future generations. I have been researching and it is so complex with multi state jurisdictions involved. My spirit is bekng disrupted at the injustice and betrayal and even though I am righteous angry I do not want it to consume me. I miss my dad and best buddy every moment of the day. I would give anything to hear him laugh, give me a hug and would love nothing more than to make him cry one more time beating him at 2500 rummey. That is not realistic though. So the only thing I am able to do is the right thing and the right thing is to make sure that my dads wishes are honored. If anyone can give me a place to start i would be forever grateful.
