I’ve tried searching land records for mineral rights for Stephens County and I can’t find details for books and pages that should be there. Where else can I look? Looking for Section 18 Township 2N Range 4W.
I didn’t get any replies. I am on a short time frame. Ended up hiring an attorney to research this as someone is claiming mineral rights that we inherited. Thanks to people who took the time to read it.
That is an interesting topic. If you have a recorded deed then I would think it to be legally binding. I read sometime back that this sort of thing happens all too often. Some people believe that because they own the land they also own what is beneath it. Very short-sighted presumption. So how did it turn out for you and how much did it cost you.
