Based upon the detail from Hilcorp for at least six months, maybe longer—it is clear that Hilcorp is subtracting between 36% and 50+% of the MCF’s from wells that I have an interest in BEFORE they calculate all interest owners decimal share. Hilcorp’s response to a query is that this amount (36% to 50+%) is “non compensationable.”
They are doing this on the coal bed methane production not the traditional production (vertical wells).
Is this happening to anyone else?
