My family has mineral rights on my paternal grandfathers side and paternal grandmothers side. There are five kids it's divided between, my dad and aunt's and uncle's. At this time I am just a legatee. One of my aunt's has the division of the rights completely messed up on my grandfather's side. My grandmother's is correct. They all received a lease agreement from EOG to drill. However, my dad and my other aunt do not want to sign the lease, if they do not sign the lease, can EOG still drill?

In short, yes, EOG can still drill, and depending on where the well location is you could potentially be drained without receiving royalties.
