Question about Mineral Rights

My family owns the mineral rights to a small parcel of land in Jefferson County, Illinois. My parents bought the land in the 1970s and the deeds (2 separate parcels from the same owner) state the mineral rights would go to them upon the seller's death. Both sellers are deceased for several years. My parents sold the land in the 1990s in 2 parcels to 2 separate buyers. The deeds stipulates the sellers maintain the mineral rights. My father has passed away and my mother has moved to Florida. I'm not sure anyone would be able to find her if they were looking for her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My mother is living on a fixed income and I'd like to think the mineral rights she owns could help her live out the rest of her life with some additional income.
