Question about land sale

I owned 5.4 acres of land in Ward County. About 5 years ago I was asked to sign some papers regarding company exploring for minerals. I signed and received a small check around $500. I realized I only owned the surface but not the minerals.

Now, I want to sell the land and invest the money somewhere else. Any suggestion on how much should I ask for? All taxes are current.

I welcome any suggestion.
