Question about a Lease

I found an old lease from August 1990 that was my Grandmother's. She has since passed away. How do I find out if anything was found on the area that she had leased? The term of the lease was only 3 years. Below are the details listed on the lease. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The lease says the land is located in Wilkinson County in Mississippi. It was with ARKLA. The lease says the following:

Township 3 North, Range 1 East: Section 27: The North 20 acres of the SE1/4 NW1/4 and a parcel of land containing 5.00 acres, more or less, in the NW1/4 NE1/4 described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the NW1/4 NE1/4 and run East 10 chains; thence North 5 chains; thence West to the boundary line of the NW1/4 NE1/4; thence South 5 chains to the point of beginning. Containing in all 25.00 acres, more or less.

Wherever the fraction 1/8th appears in the royalty provisions of this lease in Paragraph 3 it is hereby amended to read 3/16ths.
