Hello,

What does it mean when new, flowing well is shut in for PSI Bombs?

They are lowering pressure gauges on a wire line down to the bottom of the well to measure the reservoir pressure (PSI). These gauges are called "bombs." Depending on the type of test they are doing it could be shut in for several days or even weeks.
