Does anyone know about a proposed horizontal well by EOG in section 3-8N-5W. We have been approached by a buyer for minerals in my grandfather’s name. Unfortunately, we do not have records for these minerals. The buyer found my grandfather’s name in a pooling relief filling. Also, how would I find the filling online? I would like to be able to find the deeds on-line and transfer them to our family partnership.
I do not see any filings for that section yet. Did he say how far back the pooling was? If you tell me his name, I can look up the particular case for you. Good for you for tracking it down and re-capturing it.
You might want to hunt up his name in the www.okcountyrecords.com for many counties in OK. Canadian county is not there. They have their own site. Canadian County, OK - Official Website - Land Record Searches
