I have a small ORRI in this well. Last check received September 2022. What happened? So I called the operator Ovintiv; they just replied there is some production since my last check yet does not meet their minimum. So I searched the API # and found this site today and noticed another person was wondering what happened? Thanks for the information M Barnes you posted. Hopefully this well will come back online like it was producing a year ago. Question… if they are fracking nearby how long will it hold this well back or will it damage its production? Thanks.
Each situation is unique, but usually they only hold the wells shut in for a few weeks or so depending upon how big the frac is nearby. You can change your minimum for a check by sending a certified letter to the operator. I set mine at $25.00
