Problem getting royalties from Conoco Phillips

I'm one of the mineral rights owners of a well in the Bakken field producing since Feb. 5, 2009. We weren't contacted by a land man until the spring of 2009 and since then have provided all documents they asked for to prove right of inheritance, including wills and a trust from the early 1900's. The land company working for Conoco Phillips is AED and we've been having a terrible time getting any action to proceed to pay status.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this? I'd appreciate any help you could give about who to contact to expedite the file.

Bette

Thanks Debra.

The sure way to get paid is to put the minerals in your own name, deed recorded in the county in which your minerals lay. If other family members inherited a share of these minerals you can share expenses. Best wishes RWK
