My wifes dad passed away several months ago but had previously signed a 3 year lease agreement. Last week, company sent a check for (according to the executor) an automatic lease renewal, however I feel the contract that was originally executed 3 years ago is null today due to her dads passing as the property is in probate and in the end it will be split? Do leases auto renew? Does anyone have any experience with this? Your opinions will be apreciated.
Read the lease . Is it not binding on the heirs ?
