Has anyone negotiated a price for a metering station on their property. I have been approached by a company in Oklahoma (Lincoln County). They are wanting to acquire a 50 foot by 50 foot site. They are also wanting to obtain a gas line easement across the north end of the property. If anyone has negotiated prices for this type of situation your input would be much appreciated. Thank You.
The easement is the same as selling them the property. Also, I would negotiate a free natural gas tap. Calculate the width and length of the easement and remember no one wants to live next to a gas pipeline. It could devalue your property.
