What’s in the area and the probability of a new well? Section 18-15n-21w and 12-15n-21w I see some action on 18 and maybe at least one new well across 18,6,7 what’s the probability of them actually drilling at least one or more? How long after the court filing before they actually drill? Thanks for the info anything else I should ask?
Adparo LLC has a permit for the DOC’S 1-1-12CHX well in sections 1 & 12. Cherokee formation. No spud yet. They are not one of the big guys drilling right now.
I do not see a new horizontal permit in 18 yet. Most of the new horizontals in the Cherokee tend to be two section wells, but there may be some threes. Burk still has active conventional gas wells in 18, so time will tell.
There is active leasing in 6 & 7, so the waiting game there.
The permits have a time limit on them, so you can see the date of them. They have to either drill, re-permit or let it expire. No guarantee that they will drill. Many of the operators are drilling the first horizontal well in the Cherokee to hold the reservoir by production. Lots of sections open to be drilled, so may be years before they come back and drill infill wells. Natural course of the business.
FYI , Increased density in 15-15-21 announced last week in addition to 19-30-15-21 being pooled mewbourne cause no. Cd2026-000344 & cause cd 2026 -000343. Any deets as to why section 32 is not being pooled , as it was previously included .The drilling continues to make a beeline west from the Sage dragon , Leroy/ Moore , Shannon , Strickland & Vivian wells. Enjoy
Will that fall in our section? We have some at 18-15n-22w and 12-15n-22w. It’s a bit confusing but really shouldn’t be that big of a deal! We had a few offers to sell and it sparked my interest to learn. Not looking to sell but really wanna lean how to navigate for the future. I still need to sign up for the Cheyenne star like you recommended.
No, 15N-21W is the township to the east of 22W.
There is some leasing in 12-15N-22W probably for the deeper Cherokee if folks had older leases with depth clauses. Diversified has the Dean Family 12-15-22 1H in the Tonkawa formation.
18-15N-22W is held by production.
