I got an offer to buy our property in Upton County, but instead of listing the legal description it simply said the “Powell 85.” I don’t know what this is referring to. Maybe a well. Our mineral interests are in North Half (N/2) of Section Nine (9) and South Half (S/2) of Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section 5 (5), Lot Forty (40), Township Five (5) South in the T. and P. Railway Survey. Does anybody know what’s happening in Upton County or what this may be referring to?
