Does anybody have any information of any new drilling activity regarding the Powell 85 well in Upton County, Texas. The well does not produce that much. We own a small mineral interest in the North Half (N/2) of Section Nine (9) and South Half (S/2) of Southeast Quarter (SE/4) of Section 5 (5), Lot Forty (40), Township Five (5) South in the T. and P. Railway Survey. We receive a small check for the Powell 85 well from Endeavor Energy Resources. I am getting offers to sell, so was wondering if there is new activity around this area.
Don’t know about the Powell 85, but I do have an interest in Sec. 9 and have been getting a ton of offers. So far I don’t see any permits for Sections 5 or 9, but next door in Sections 8/17 and Sections 10/15 I counted around 28 permits in the past year. Probably just a matter of time for these other sections.
