Potash mining in New Mexico

Anyone know what is going on with the Mosiac potash mines in New Mexico? We have not seen any activity in over a year. Thank you.

Mosaic sold their NM assets late last year. Or maybe it closed this month. To International Minerals Carlsbad which means….lord knows. Seems mines will still run with same staff. The total sale was for $30m…total….which can’t possibly be the value of the water rights that Mosaic holds, so you’d assume they mostly want to get out from under a zillion dollars of liability.

Would be kinda cool if Mosaic let XOM have a drill island right next to their mine off of 31 so some folks could get their ORRIs developed. Cough cough cough.

Don’t be surprised if “someone’s” hopes come true. I know how com works. They can throw 50 rigs at anything and another 100 if needed. I could send an email to xom and they will take a look at it. I was in a pre drill meeting with xom in Fort Worth the drlg supreme said there is a fault there. You are going to drill the fault. “But what if we get stuck”. Xto: drill til u get stuck. .
