Is it typical for individual owners of small >one acre plots to negotiate a lease without post-production costs subtracted from the royalty payments?
Hi, not sure that it is typical but I have successfully negotiated leases with cost free provisions on interests less than 1 NMA. That was a few years a go when the market was different but as the price of oil has recovered operators may be more willing negotiate. Good luck! Matt Sands
