Currently assessing the prospect of a carbon capture and storage lease. Trying to monetize a fair share of a technology that doesn't quite exist is a somewhat daunting task. Is anyone else looking into this?
Sounds very similar to natural gas storage agreements. I haven’t been involved in negotiating storage deals, but I assume it will be a very similar arrangement. It’s just CO2 instead of natural gas. The CO2 will have a value that will likely be pegged to the oil price.
